I stumbled across McCleery dental when I was searching for a new dental provider for my husband and I. From the moment I called to schedule to the point we got into the office. He did a thorough initial screening, checking stuff other dentists never had and answered all questions as if he had all the time in the world. Went today for a filling. I’m 73, so I have been in many dental offices, had X-rays, experienced dental exams & talked with a number of dentists. However, I have never experienced a better dental exam. It was so detailed and thorough. Then Dr. McCleery explained what all my options are going forward and the typical costs attached to each. This allows me to make very informed decisions. AMAZING!!! Best dentist I have ever been to!!! Went for a sore tooth and found had to have 2 pulled. Absolutely no pain from start to finish! The Dr. & Staff were so nice and helpful and made me at ease. No one likes going to dentist but they made the whole process so easing and stress free. I am SO grateful that I found Dr. McCleery! I was having really uncomfortable tooth pain and it was really affecting my quality of life. My last dentist's practice felt like the "Jiffy Lube" of Dentists and the past practice appeared to have making lots of money and acquiring way too many patients as its' business model. I became very dismayed when my last Dentist didn't seem to care or take my well being to heart. On the contrary, Dr. McCleery has been patient, genuine, and a great communicator. It is apparent that he has integrity and he cares. I probably sound like a broken record, but I can't say enough good things about my care and how happy I am that Dr. McCleery found the problem with my tooth and relieved me of my pain! A friend referred me to Dr. McCleery about a few years ago after I told her I wasn't feeling confident about my former dentist's care. (I had such an excellent dentist before moving here and wanted to find someone of similar quality.) I'm very happy with Dr. McCleery. He's knowledgable, friendly, professional, and proactive. Under his care, I had to have a biopsy and his referral was also stellar. Most recently during quarantine, my husband woke up on a Friday with a consuming, painful toothache. His own dentist was not available, so I suggested I call Dr. McCleery. His office was closed during quarantine, but I was able to reach him via instructions from the office's recorded message and got right through. Though he was in Redmond at the time and my husband was not his patient, he still drove over to Bend to meet with him within an hour and was able to ensure my husband was diagnosed and would be comfortable through the weekend, assuring him that he'd schedule his surgery as soon as he could get staff arranged. My husband was so grateful as he didn't think he could have gone through the weekend without a pain prescription and anti-biotic for the infection. The surgery was scheduled quickly and all things went smoothly. To top it off, Dr. McCleery sent us a Thank You letter saying how he appreciated meeting my husband. He's such a gem! We owe him a BIG Thank you! My husband wants to continue with Dr. Cleery and was so grateful to have him come to his aid despite the challenges of quarantine. It definitely was going out of his way for him to help and that says a lot. Thank you, Dr. Cleery, and thank you to your wonderful team.

Being someone who is afraid of the dentist, I arrive expecting a terrible experience, and each time I leave my appointments thinking how great it went. I have had several appointments involving routine and also major dental work. Dr. McCleery also takes care of all 3 of my children and they love it. The office is immaculate and they adhere to very complex and strict sanitation and social distancing procedures in this time of COVID. Its obvious they take our, and their health and wellbeing VERY seriously. I enjoy the chats with Dr. McCleery even if I don't always follow his advice for neck exercises for my jaw and the recommended amount if flossing 🙂 He's so down to earth and just plain friendly. I really appreciate the numerous times he has retouched my front tooth to match the color again or smooth it down some more, all free of charge! He always wants to make sure I'm 100% happy with my teeth before I leave the office. I can't say enough good things about the front office and hygienists too. What a team!

After seeing another dentist for years and having problems overlooked and cleanings that were not sufficient, I was referred to McCleery Dental. During my first appointment, the hygienist took their time to do a thorough examination, x-rays and the best cleaning I have ever had. Next, Dr. McCleery sat down with me and did a very thorough examination, answering my questions and never making me feel rushed. During that visit, Dr. McCleery found issues that had been overlooked and was able to address the problem before it became worse and before I was in pain. I've been to many dentists in my life, but there have been none that have even come close to the Murtaugh Dental office! Dr. Ginny is down to earth, caring and gentle. The Hygienists are wonderful! The office staff are Awesome. Every chance I get, I refer people to this office. Must say....I've "converted" alot of people and they are equally as happy! Thanks for all your care Murtaugh Dental 🙂

I would recommend Murtaugh Dental. They a very professional and they are helpful to as I do not like going to the dentist. They get the work done with as few appointments as possible. They seem to have the most recent equipment. I do not have insurance and they are very competitively priced Doctor Jim was able to complete all my dental needs without needing to sent my to another office. This was important to me!!.

For Dental services in Central Oregon, Murtaugh General Cosmetic Dentistry is tough to beat. I have been a patient for years, and have had everything from your basic cleaning to more extensive work done there. The office and staff provide a warm, calm and clean environment every time. I would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking dental needs in the area.
